Team Fit is volunteer placement software designed for churches. It helps churches build a personalized volunteer assessment, match people to serving roles based on their strengths and interests, and notify ministry leaders when someone expresses interest in joining a team.
Team Fit is operated by LP Works LLC, a New York limited liability company. In these Terms, "Team Fit," "we," "us," and "our" refer to LP Works LLC.
By creating an account or using the Team Fit platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, including your church name, your name, and a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each church should maintain one primary account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@myteamfit.net.
Team Fit is provided for the purpose of managing volunteer serving programs at churches. You agree not to use the platform for:
Sending unsolicited messages or spam to volunteers or contacts collected through the platform.
Scraping, harvesting, or programmatically extracting data from the platform without authorization.
Any use that violates applicable law, infringes on the rights of others, or is unrelated to managing a church volunteer program.
Team Fit includes AI-assisted features (including our setup assistant, “Leon”) that help you draft position descriptions, suggest scoring, and set up your account. These features generate content automatically using third-party AI providers, and that content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your church's specific context.
AI-generated content is a starting point, not professional, legal, theological, or HR advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything the AI produces before you publish or rely on it. You remain responsible for all content in your account, including content generated with AI assistance.
Team Fit can connect to third-party services that you choose to enable, such as Planning Center. If you connect an integration, you authorize Team Fit to exchange the relevant information with that service on your behalf (for example, creating or updating people and starting workflows in Planning Center when a volunteer submits an assessment).
Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy. Team Fit is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or how they handle data once it reaches them. You are responsible for maintaining your own account and permissions with any service you connect.
To operate the platform, Team Fit relies on trusted third-party service providers, including for hosting, data storage, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and AI features. These providers process information only as needed to provide their part of the service. We remain responsible for our handling of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
You grant Team Fit permission to use your church's name and logo to identify you as a customer in our marketing, including on our website and in promotional materials. We will use your name and logo in a way that is respectful and consistent with normal “customers we serve” promotion, and we will not imply your endorsement of a specific product claim without your permission.
If you would prefer that we not use your name or logo, email us at support@myteamfit.net and we will stop using it going forward within a reasonable time.
Your church is the data controller for all volunteer information collected through your Team Fit assessment. Team Fit processes that data on your behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring that your volunteers understand how their information will be used and for obtaining any consents required by applicable law before directing people to complete your assessment. Team Fit does not independently obtain consent from volunteers on your behalf.
Team Fit offers paid subscription plans as well as promotional and program-based access (for example, launch promotions and our Church Planter Program). The plan available to your church, and any applicable price, is presented at the time you register or upgrade.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, using the billing cycle shown at checkout. By starting a paid subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees until you cancel.
Where a plan includes a free period before billing begins (such as a promotional free year), we will begin charging the applicable subscription fee at the end of that free period unless you cancel beforehand. We will make the terms of any such offer clear before you accept it.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; unless otherwise stated, fees already paid are non-refundable and your access continues through the end of the current billing period. If we change our prices, we will provide advance notice before the change applies to your subscription.
Team Fit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team Fit and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You may stop using Team Fit at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, you may request an export of your church's data. We will fulfill data export requests within a reasonable time. After the export period, your church's data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Team Fit will be resolved in the courts of New York.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the platform. Continued use of Team Fit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
